The U.S. National Census Day, the reference day used for the census, will be April 1, 2020. From mid-March, homes across the country will begin receiving invitations to complete the 2020 Census. Once the invitation arrives, individuals should respond for their home in one of three ways: online, by phone, or by mail.
Additionally, representatives from the Census Bureau presented helpful information for service providers at the CoC meeting on February 13, 2020, concerning counting sheltered and unsheltered homeless for the 2020 Census.
