Centralized Housing Intake provides coordinated assessment for households experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. If you or someone you know is homeless or about to be homeless, then please call Intake at (540) 271-1701. When you call, be prepared to leave a message with your name, phone number, and current housing situation. A counselor will return your call to discuss your needs and then send a referral to an agency that might be able to help you. You can also visit Centralized Housing Intake at 305 N. High St. Harrisonburg VA 22802 during the hours of 9:00am-5:
Please keep in mind that agencies might not always have the financial resources that you need, so it's best to pursue several options in addition to calling Intake.
These guides outline various community resources throughout the CoC coverage area. Included is information on housing assistance, food pantries, employment services, substance abuse support, clothes closets, and much more. If you see a resource that is outdated, then please tell us through the Contact form.
