The Continuum of Care (CoC) provides services to the homeless community with programs
that provide Shelter, Homeless Prevention and Rapid Rehousing, of homeless persons. We
analyzed our program participant data from HMIS to determine if all demographic groups
were able to access services in equal proportion to their demographics in the homeless
population. We did find that homelessness effected persons of color at a higher rate than the baseline demographics of persons who live in our region.
HUD has released a tool to help look at demographic data for our region.
