Pit Count

The 2020 Point in Time Count will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd.

The Point-in-Time (PIT) count is a count of sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January. HUD requires that Continuums of Care conduct an annual count of people experiencing homelessness.
Continuums of Care also must conduct a count of unsheltered people on the same night. HUD specifies these people are staying in places that are not appropriate for habitation, such as a van or a tent. Online training is available here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6_RFrXKLLE&t=272s .
