Get involved- Become a Member

Western VA CoC (CoC) membership is available to nonprofit organizations, public or private businesses, local and state government departments, schools, hospitals, community members, and many others without regard to race, ethnicity, sex, religion, or national origin.

CoC membership offers many rewards. Benefits of CoC membership include:

  • joining a robust network of agencies working together to make homelessness in Western Virginia rare, brief, and non-recurring;
  • helping coordinate and implement housing and service systems in our region;
  • creating critical policies that support housing services; and
  • developing measures and interventions that increasingly advocate for eliminating homelessness in Western Virginia.

Those interested in becoming involved in collaborative initiatives to eliminate homelessness are encouraged to join the CoC and its committees. Membership is open to anyone interested in and committed to ending homelessness in Shenandoah Valley. There are no term limits, but members must attend meetings to remain an active voting member.
