Centralized Intake- Where it all starts
The Centralized Housing Intake working group is a collaborative effort of representatives from agencies in the CoC. This group monitors the processes of the Centralized Intake and looks for ways of improving them so that clients are able to access housing.
Some topics of discussion are:
- Best Practices: Uses HUD’s definition of Coordinated Entry Process
- Accessibility: Ensures client accessibility to the screening process by phone or for walk-ins
- Compliance: Monitors CHI staff and agency referrals
The parties involved are agencies who provide Coordinated Entry Services
